I had my wisdom teeth extracted at this practice and it was amazing. From the consultation with Dr. Omar Hussain and his dental assistant Brooke making me feel at ease. I typically have anxiety when getting dental work, but not this time. All the way through surgery. I would recommend this practice to anyone. I was absolutely terrified to get my wisdom teeth taken out because what I saw online. From the first consult Dr. Omar and his assistant made me feel heard and assured me how safe I’d be. They listened to my needs and exceeded my expectations. When I went in for the surgery everyone spoke to me in a calm manner and the front desk was very kind as I’m sure they could see my nerves. I had terrific care at Asheville Oral and Maxilofacial Surgery when I had to have a tooth extracted; Dr Omar was wonderful with his explanation of every step of the procedure and Brooke was very supportive and had a very calming demeanor and put me at ease right away. Having to have this procedure done was definitely not at the top my “hit parade” , but I would highly recommend these 2 professionals for a job well done , and one done as pleasantly as possible. Nobody likes to go to the dentist but Asheville Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery makes it as pleasant as possible. Everyone was professional and friendly. The receptionist was on the phone so another front desk person checked me in & logged in my insurance. In the exam room, Vanessa checked my blood pressure & sugar. I didn’t feel a thing & she told me the results. Dr. Ben is amazing! He answered all my questions before the procedure & made sure I was OK throughout. His assistant was always ready with suction so I didn’t choke or swallow anything. I highly recommend Asheville Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery for any serious dental work. You’ll never have a better experience!

I originally had my consultation to get get 4 wisdom teeth and a molar taken out but over the last few weeks the molar and wisdom tooth it was pressing again were giving me so much pain that I had to get them out asap. I was so nervous about being sedated and have my mouth worked on but the nurses made it very comfortable. They gave me a blanket and talked to me about my son. Dr Mancia was amazin and he explained everything to me. Next thing I knew I was waking up and done. I still have 3 other wisdom teeth to pull and I won't be as nervous as I was thanks to them. 100% recommend.

The staff was very nice and knew what they were doing. They also described what I might experience afterwards and seems to be what I experienced. Dr Hussain described everything he was going to during the procedure. Made it more comfortable in a sense. Excellent and professional

Fantastic staff and patient care! Dr. Omar took great care to fully explain everything that was going to happen, what to expect, and what was going on as he was working. Did a great job putting me at ease, and making me understand what was happening and why. The whole staff was professional, and welcoming, and was a huge help in assisting me in getting very quick and timely care for an issue that I was having. I am very thankful for them all!
