All the staff were extremely friendly, from the receptionists to the medical/surgical support staff to Dr. Mancia. I felt very comfortable during my consultation, and I was confident that my exposed root extractions were going to be easy, stress-free and well taken care of. I was right. I had my surgery at 9:00 am this morning, and it was quick, very comfortable and stress-free. I had an overall positive experience. 3.5 hours later, and the local anesthetic wore off about 30 minutes ago. Since then, I have had no pain, minimal residual bleeding and only very, very minor discomfort in my jaw (but this is completely normal and to be expected, given I had two exposed roots extracted from both my upper and lower right jaw). I have absolutely no dissatisfaction or complaints with my two recent visits to Asheville Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. If I ever need additional oral or maxillofacial surgery in the future, I will certainly return to this practice to have these procedures done.

Having my tooth removed here was a seamless experience. The staff was very kind. Dr. Omar Hussain was very caring and prepared me for everything I needed to know before and after the surgery. He even called the evening after the surgery to make sure everything was good. My gums are almost completely healed! Well I had a tooth pulled. It was right next to a gold crown. We had a good time. I laughed at him and he laughed at me. Omar did a beautiful job. He was very concerned that I’m not be in pain. He did a good job with that. It’s obvious he knew what he was doing and was experienced at it. Oh my crown is in good shape and it was not Knocked loose by the process of removing the tooth next to it. So five stars for a good job well done.

I had my wisdom tooth removed there by Dr. Jorge Mancia and Sarah. Even though the procedure itself is not pleasant, Sarah made sure that I feel comfortable and that I know exactly what will be done during my visit, she made sure all my questions were answered as well. Her friendly and kind approach made all the difference! I had local anaesthesia and Dr. Jorge Mancia was checking in on me every couple of minutes to make sure I do not feel pain and that I am doing alright. The procedure was quick overall and I am very glad I was referred to them by my dentist. At the end Sarah gave me a goodie bag that made me feel like I was at an event, and also directions for the next couple of weeks. Later in the day Dr. Mancia gave me a call to double check how I was coping after the surgery. I had no complications and feel completely fine now :).
